Have you ever wondered what happened to the people you lose touch with? Not deliberately perhaps but often, even in the best of times, life gets in the way.
The strangest thing happened to me today. It is often an odd happenstance when the people you once encountered in the past suddenly appear most randomly and when you least expect it. In truth, I was not expecting to see anyone from my past just two streets down the road from my mothers house. We used to be in the same high school together and he came round to visit me in Cardiff once whilst I was university there. After that, we sort of lost contact which saddened me a little as I always assumed that we would be friends. Every once in a while, I would briefly be reminded of this old schoolmate of mine, wondering what happened to him since we last caught up. Today, I found out that he is doing well and busy building his own little world, just like the rest of us. That, in itself is a wonderous thing. It made me smile. And so the world keeps spinning...
